Visit NC State Fairgrounds this weekend to see exotic kangaroo, snakes, sloths and tortoise

Dozens of exotic animals will be on display at the 2022 NC Pet Expo on Saturday and Sunday at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Dozens of exotic animals will be on display at the 2022 NC Pet Expo on Saturday and Sunday at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center.

Cool Zool, an educational wildlife exhibit, will have on display a kangaroo, an alligator, a boa constrictor, a giant tortoise, sloths and birds.

The event costs $15 for those 10 and older and $10 for children between the ages of 4 and 9. Anyone under the age of three is free.

Cash and credit is accepted at the door. Guests can also purchase tickets online ahead of time.

The event lasts Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
