Visit chickens and bees at Tour D'Coop

Tour D'Coop started in 2005 as a way for neighbors to show off their hens and coops. It has since grown to include nearly 20 coops and thousands of visitors.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The annual Tour D'Coop is Saturday in the Triangle. There will be 19 locations featuring chicken coops and bee hives to visit during this self-guided tour.

Tour D'Coop started in 2005 as a way for neighbors to show off their hens and coops. It has since grown to include nearly 20 coops and thousands of visitors.

Tour D'Coop

Coops are available to visit anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. rain or shine. Tickets purchased online are $10 per person and $20 per group. Online ticket sales close at 2 p.m. Friday. Tickets can be purchased for $12 per person or $25 per group/carload at one of the following locations on Saturday:

  • Raleigh Brewing Company- 3709 Neil St
  • Seaboard Ace Hardware- 802 Semart Dr #112
  • Whole Foods Raleigh- 3540 Wade Avenue
  • Whole Foods North Raleigh- 8710 Six Forks Road
  • Whole Foods Cary- 102 New Waverly Place
  • Whole Foods West Cary- 5055 Arco Street

When tickets are purchased, the exact locations of the coops will be provided.

Tour D'Coop raises non-perishable food and money for Urban Ministries, a Raleigh-based non-profit that provides essential services to close to 20,000 Triangle residents each year.
