A person was killed in a boating accident at Hatteras Inlet on Sunday.

<b>HATTERAS, N.C.</b> — A woman was killed in a boating accident at Hatteras Inlet on Sunday.

Two people were thrown off the boat due to the force of the crash, according to the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.

Brandi A. Lash, 29, died in the accident. Lash was from Round Hill, Va.

The Coastline Times reported that Lash was thrown from the boat, then the same boat ran over her.

The condition of the other person is not known.
