RANLO, N.C. — Bomb experts from Fort Bragg were called to Gaston County Friday after an unexploded bomb was found in a creek bed in Ranlo.

Police said the bomb was the kind that would have been attached to a Vietnam War era plane.

Police believe the device was inert but say they could not be totally sure.
