Texas DPS officials say it took officers 1 hour to engage with Uvalde gunman

Victor Escalon, Southeast Regional Director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, said there was no armed officer on campus during Tuesday's shooting at Robb Elementary School. Escalon said the suspected shooter was able to enter the school without anyone stopping him.
