State Capitol Police officer needs surgery after winter weather accident

N. Galleo was on her way to work at 4 a.m. when she hit a patch of ice, slid off the road and bumped a guard rail. While waiting outside her vehicle, another car lost control and hit her vehicle, which hit her and sent her 'flying into the air.'
