Scavenger hunt: Glass pinecones hidden on trails in Moore County
The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau partnered with glassmakers from Starworks in Star, NC, to create a specially-made mold to produce a limited run of 100 glass pinecones. These colorful pinecones - which look exactly like the ones pictured on this page - will be hidden along trails throughout Moore County starting in March.
