Racial slur found on digital traffic sign in Wake County late Friday night
A spokesperson with the North Carolina Department of Transportation said the sign, which was not owned by NCDOT, was fixed by 6 a.m. Saturday, but residents who saw it said they were so shocked by it they called 911.
