Petal It Forward--A big hit in downtown Cary on Wednesday

On Wednesday, October 23, Cary Florist gave away more than 400 flowers for the nationwide Petal It Forward Program. Florists in 48 states participated in the Society of American Florists (SAF) annual program. Downtown Cary folks kicked it in to high gear to drop what they were doing when this was posted on Social Media to come to the store to get 2 free bouquets-1 to keep and 1 to give to someone having a hard day. Some gave them to complete strangers to pay this forward. It was really heartwarming. The downtown Cary people are awesome! We even had people knocking on the door after closing time!
