Serious wreck closes road at intersection of I-540 and I-87

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 87 and Interstate 540 were closed Tuesday afternoon in Wake County after a tractor-trailer crashed and flipped on its side, an accident that could snarl travel plans for motorists trying to get out of town for the July 4th holiday.
