NAACP, Latino groups criticize anti-immigrant bills
The NAACP and some Latino advocacy groups call on Gov. Roy Cooper to veto two bills working their way through the General Assembly. One would require sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration agents, and the other would allow people to sue cities and counties over any lack of enforcement of immigration laws.
