Recycled flowers put a smile on many faces

A group of women meet every Tuesday morning at the Raleigh Moravian Church to arrange and deliver flowers to those in need of a good smile. Their organization, The Flower Shuttle, recycles and rebirths beautiful flowers adopted from grocery stores, florists, weddings and even funerals. The women deliver the flowers to soup kitchens, Meals on Wheels, the Rex Cancer Center and the Rex Rehabilitation Center.
