Democrats say they will oppose Tata, Trump's pick to be Pentagon policy chief

Anthony Tata is also the former Superintendent of Wake County Schools and a longtime defender of President Trump. The move to oppose, comes on the heels of scrutiny over past tweets from Tata-- specifically in relation to Former President Obama. If confirmed by the Senate, Tata would become the third highest official in the Pentagon.
