Hit by a pandemic, riots and a curfew: Downtown businesses hope customers return

It's been a tough year for downtown Raleigh's businesses. COVID-19 caused restrictions and shut downs. Then, violence sparked over multiple nights led to property damage. Finally, some owners said, the curfew cost them thousands of dollars in business. With boarded up windows and COVID-19 still a concern, businesses hope customers will return downtown soon.
