Former Gov. Beverly Perdue praised Gov. Roy Cooper's efforts to keep the coronavirus pandemic in check in North Carolina while also criticizing the federal response. President Donald Trump spends too much time worried about the political fallout and hasn't provided a coordinated national response, Perdue says.
