All right you completed your first spring here

What are your thoughts about the progress that you made

in this office But also working with um I feel

like I made a lot of good progress so I've

grown a lot over the last three weeks

Uh being here bring around some of the guys some

of these coaches learning from some of these coaches

So it's like really good process

This um I said playing playing faster but they they

they gonna be playing faster than how I was playing

So I think that uh chemistry with Drake obviously as

y'all can see uh gets better every every practice

So yeah so it's kind of going off of that

great kind of I guess you need to you know

the quarterback play as when it comes to his uh

like with Drake like he he's hard on himself so

he feel like everything is on him

So he'll come to you like after the play like

ask you how you want it or whatever whatever you

tell him that he he gives it to you

So that's just what I feel like that's what makes

him more unique than most

Did you have any notes for him on the touchdown

pass today It looked like it hit you right when

you're saying he come to you and say like how

did you like Um no it was just me me

and him like on our days we get together and

we try to get Kim on those type of passes

So he I told him I want it he knows

how fast I am

So he just really puts it out there and I

just run under it this what you

were hoping for exceeded your expectations

So um it is it really exactly what I thought

it was uh when I was up here like everything

they told me they've they've stood by they were and

everything been great

So what was it like for you to score a

touchdown in the stadium I know you know the season

will be a few more fans

Um It was it was it was a dope moment

uh getting that game feel scoring first touchdown here

Uh But yes it was it was good

What was the movie you Uh I just I just

gave him a little quick hesitation in the line

Uh Marcus he he a real physical corner like to

get hands on to the line

So I just really wanted to beat him with speed

and that's that's what I did try to stay away

from him

Was saying that Drake specifically recruit you and me

Can you share any stories from what I was like

Uh me personally I mean it it wasn't much in

that with me

Like already once I got the call from Carolina I

already knew where I wanted to go

So he it really much he he could say to

me I already knew I wanted to come here

What do you think this offense is capable of now

that you guys have been through a spring together and

you know getting the new pieces in like you and

a and and getting like comfortable with Drake

Like what do you think What do you think ahead

of you guys coming this fall Uh I think we

got some big things ahead of us

I've played in this offense before when I was a

kid and like we we averaged 40 points a game

in this offense who it's a quarterback friendly office of

Drake should have some high stats in his office

So we look pretty good down

We look pretty good down the road

How much does Drake I'm sorry what was that How

much does make uh like I said him just knowing

what we want we know what he wants

We all just that that that connection with him

How would you rate Nate's catch today It looks like

you took it on the top of the um I

I I can get out of 10

I honestly thought it hit the ground first but that

was that was good

Concentration

Focus on that catch pile a good play

in here

Um it's it's real good

Like you see when the defense is out there they're

trying to figure out a way to stop us and

we at the same time

So it's been real good

He's one of the ones I've got close with since

I've been here
