NC State football helps build lasting memories for GiGi's Playhouse
well the first touchdown scored at carter Finley Stadium this
season wasn't from there thomas or devin carter or even
devin leary
It was from this precious little angel from Gigi's playhouse

It's all part of what N
C
State football celebrates as victory day
The event in its fourth year gives cognitively and physically
impaired individuals a chance to play football alongside their favorite
pack players
They got a chance to run out of the tunnel
work with the team in one on one drills and
oh yes of course they were scoring lots of touchdowns
Just a special night for the players to build these
relationships and head coach Dave Doeren says it warms his
heart
You know all these kids and not even kids adults
that are here with us tonight have lost access in
a lot of ways throughout their lives to different things
and tonight that's the opposite
It's about access
It's about having fun with great people and we're blessed
to have them here
It's it's awesome to be a part of this with
Gs
You never know how bad someone has it you know
what I'm saying So we all some people take stuff
for granted but we know these kids go through a
lot of stuff everything that we don't see you know
what I'm saying
So we just try to be blessings to everyone and
make everyone smile quickly going back to Gigi's playhouse Cyrus
Fagan who we heard from there his little sister he
told me actually has down syndrome so he knows what
this is like for these individuals and it was just
so special to see all these guys
They were all having so much fun
Doran told me
He said I don't know who has more fun
These guys out there or or these kids I think
they have some Wolfpack fans for life
Absolutely
How could you not be right to have a blast
Thanks Casey
