A little girl who loves the movie "Annie" recently sang to a police officer at her school. The video of her performance is now going viral.
The Nash County Sheriff's Office posted the video to its Facebook page on Nov. 4. In the video, Morrigan Haley, 7, a first grader, is seen singing to Sgt. Angel Ricks, who was visiting Benvenue Elementary School.

The first grader approached Ricks and told her she wanted to sing to her.
After getting her mom's permission, Haley belted out the song.
Morrigan said she dreams of one day becoming famous. Now, thanks to her friendly nature and eagerness to sing, she is a star.
"All of a sudden, Morrigan stands up in front of me and says 'Hi, my name is Morrigan. Can I sing you a song?'" Sgt. Ricks said.
Morrigan's performance got lots of cheers and applause.
"You remember the day you sang to me?" Ricks asked.
"Yes, I remember the day I sang to you," Morrigan said.
"We were in the cafeteria and then everyone stopped talking and they listed to you. And then what did they do when you were done?" Ricks asked Morrigan.
"They clapped their hands," the girl said.
"Everyone in the whole cafeteria," Ricks said.
"Yes, they liked it."
Now, it's a newfound friendship between the two.
"You are my best friend," Morrigan said.
"Aww ... and you're my best friend," Ricks replied. "You're awesome."
