Victim's brother charged in fatal motel shooting
Antonio Wardell Matthews, 31, was charged with murder in the shooting death of Devin Scriven, 22, whose body was found in a room at Hal Orr's Inn.

Antonio Wardell Matthews, 31, was charged with murder in the shooting death of Devin Scriven, 22, whose body was found in a room at Hal Orr’s Inn, 2420 N. Wesleyan Blvd. Matthews was being held without bond Wednesday at the Nash County Jail.
Matthews, who lived at the motel, was Scriven's older brother. Police said they haven't yet established a motive for the shooting.
Scriven also was shot while visiting his mother’s home on Dec. 21, police said.
