Victim identified in Durham homicide

— Police said Wednesday that they have identified the body found in a wooded area of eastern Durham last week.

An officer searching the woods for a break-in suspect found the body of Crystal Lynn Baker, 24, of Durham, near Chandler and Ross roads on Friday.

Investigators haven’t released a cause of death, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.
