HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Harnett County is offering face-to-face healthcare assistance to veterans for two more days at the Dunn Community Center.
On Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., veterans can receive assistance they wouldn't normally get in another state.
More than 300 veterans have already traveled across the country to Harnett County this week to receive much needed health care, dental care and mental health counseling.
Here, veterans can have one-on-one conversations with experts about their personal health and secure benefits.
Another session similar to this one is planning in Cary in September.
