<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A man was pulled from a burning home in Fayetteville at around 9 a.m. on Tuesday and died shortly after, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.

William Bostick, was a veteran in his late 70s, according to a relative.

The fire took place at 5304 Lynette Circle in Hollywood Heights at 10 a.m., officials said.

WRAL News was told that 24 students were on board, ages 5 to 11. Two students were taken to WakeMed for femur fractures and facial lacerations. Seven other students were taken to a hospital in Smithfield.
