Vehicle hits, kills man in Fayetteville
Fayetteville police said that a vehicle struck and killed a man on Sycamore Dairy Road, near Bragg Boulevard, early Saturday.

Around 4 a.m., police found the man lying in Sycamore Dairy Road, near a McDonald's restaurant, at 3701 Bragg Blvd. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died.
The victim's identity has not been released.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death continue.
Police said they first got a call about an assault in the area, then a call about a person being run over by a vehicle on Sycamore Dairy Road. Police talked to the occupants of the vehicle involved in the collision.
Roads in the area were temporarily closed while police responded to the scene.
