Vehicle hits Goldsboro post office; one injured

An 83-year-old driver was cited Tuesday after her vehicle crashed through the glass wall of a Goldsboro post office, injuring a man inside the building.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — An 83-year-old driver was cited Tuesday after her vehicle crashed through the glass wall of a Goldsboro post office, injuring a man inside the building.

Ethel Edwards, of Goldsboro, was behind the wheel when the wreck happened at 200 N. Williams St. shortly before 6 p.m., police said.

Donald Ebron, 60, of Goldsboro was injured. He was treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Edwards was charged with failure to reduce speed.
