MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A vehicle crashed into a Raleigh strip mall Wednesday evening, damaging an ATM and two stores.

Police said Morgan Plemmons, 27, put her vehicle into drive instead of reverse when she tried to pull out of a parking space at 8521 Brier Creek Parkway at about 8 p.m.

No one was seriously hurt in the crash but police estimated that an AT&T store and Planet Tan sustained about $40,000 damage.

Plemmons was charged with improper backing.
