Veelee

Almost as gift to all of us, Ginger Wagg and Matthew Park packed more than just their relationship when they left Virginia and took up residence in Carrboro.

They brought with them a desire to express themselves.

Matt told me that “the experience of feeling music is something that’s universal.”

And therefore the universe has brought us Veelee.

Nothing is forced with these two.

Inspired primarily by minimalist bands, Veelee explains that most of their work has a steady undertone with structure and movement created on top. You can find evidence to back that up in their only LP, The Future Sight, produced by Grip Tapes.

We had a lot of fun putting this together. I admit I waited way too long to knock out another video blog post, but this one was worth the wait.
