Vass man charged in fatal stabbing
A Vass man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an early morning stabbing that left one person dead and a second one wounded, authorities said.

Moore County deputies went to 284 Circle Drive in response to a reported stabbing and found the two victims inside. The wounded person was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Craig Lamont Seagraves, 35, was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He was being held without bond in the Moore County jail.
Authorities didn't release the names of the victims, a possible motive for the attack or details on what evidence connected Seagraves to the crime.
