— Tanya Wilson of Henderson found herself the lucky winner of a $200,000 Super 7’s top prize.

She purchased her $5 ticket from The Million Spot on N.C. 39 North in Henderson.

Wilson claimed her prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, she took home $141,501.

Super 7’s launched in July with five top prizes of $200,000. Two top prizes remain to be won.

Ticket sales from scratch-off games make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $725 million a year for education. For details on how $2.4 million made a difference in Vance County in 2019, click on the “Impact” section of the lottery’s website.
