Raleigh financial adviser charged with fraud
In a statement, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina said that Furman Alexander Ford, a financial adviser at New York Life Insurance, created and submitted fraudulent letters on behalf of an elderly victim for payments totaling $246,000.
