UPS is hiring thousands of workers for the holiday season.

A full-time UPS package delivery driver makes an average of $95,000 per year, according to a spokesperson for the company. In Raleigh, positions are open for seasonal delivery and CDL drivers, warehouse workers and driver helpers, who do not drive the vehicle but assist in package delivery.

A local driver helper position listed online advertises pay of $18 per hour. A seasonal delivery driver position advertises pay of $21 per hour.

At least 25 local positions were listed online. More than 100,000 seasonal workers will be hired across the country.

According to UPS, 80% of job listings don't require an interview, and the online application takes most people an average of 25 minutes.

Working for UPS can be a physically demanding job. Many packages weigh between 25 and 35 pounds, and some may weigh up to 70 pounds, according to the job listing.
