Posted — UpdatedHarris Teeter has rolled out a new eVic Digital Coupons Program on October 18 and with it comes a new digital coupons policy.
According to Danna Robinson, Harris Teeter Communication Manager, "The new program, which looks very similar to the former, is in place, and we are in the process of rolling out additional offers. There are currently only four showing. We hope to have more by tomorrow morning and will continue to add as quickly as possible."
One of the biggest changes to the new program is that customers have to be enrolled in e-VIC online reward program to access the new digital coupons.
You will also notice that another big change to the program is that they will no longer allow customers to "stack" a digital coupon with a manufacturer's coupon on the same item. They were the last grocery store to allow the combination of both coupons on the same product and it comes as no surprise that this option is no longer available.
- Customers who choose to participate in our Digital Coupon program are required to join our e-VIC program, which requires a valid e-mail address and VIC card.
- Digital coupons will automatically be applied to a customer’s total purchase prior to paper coupons or any other discounts, as long as the qualifying product(s) are purchased using the same VIC card in which the coupons were loaded.
- Digital coupons will not double or triple.
- A digital manufacturer coupon cannot be combined with a paper or Internet manufacturer coupon.
- If a digital manufacturer coupon and a paper manufacturer coupon are presented for the same item, the best value will be redeemed at checkout, including any double or triple value promotions. Any unused digital or paper coupons will be returned to the customer.
- Digital coupons will have an expiration date communicated on the website.
- Digital coupons are not eligible on closeout items on sale as a manager’s special or if the coupon exceeds the price of the item.
- Digital coupons for amounts “off Total orders” are not eligible on alcohol or tobacco products, stamps, tickets, and lottery and gift cards.
If you have any questions, post them in the comments section and I will pass them on to the corporate office for more information.
What do you think? Will this change your Harris Teeter shopping habits at all?
