UPDATE: Elton John's May Greensboro Coliseum show postponed until 2021

Sir Elton John is coming to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in May 2020, as part of his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour, intended to be his last.

Sad news for fans who lined up for tickets: a Greensboro, NC stop of Elton John's epic three-year farewell tour is now postponed to 2021.
"The tough decision has been made for the upcoming Elton John 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' show on May 23 to be rescheduled to 2021, as the health of Elton’s fans is of upmost importance," the Greensboro Coliseum website reads. "Ticketholders of the upcoming performances will receive new event information shortly and all original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled performances."

Sir Elton will play the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in 2021 as part of his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour, intended to be his last.

The marathon, multi-continent tour of more than 300 stops began in 2018 and includes dates around, the world, with shows in London, Paris, Stockholm and Melbourne.

John, 72, maintains several residences around the world, including one in Atlanta.

His most recent release was Wonderful Crazy Night, in 2016.
