Unidentified body discovered in Moore County

An unidentified body was found in Moore County around 9 a.m. on Saturday, according to Robbins Police Chief Lawson Thomas.

Thomas said the body was found near SE Broad St. in the Town of Robbins.

Officials have not been able to rule out that the person was a murder victim, nor have they identified the body at this time.

The Town Manager is expected to release further information.
