UNC-TV lines up free fun for kids at the NC State Fair inside 'Rootle Wonderland'

RALEIGH, N.C. — Rootle, UNC-TV's PBS KIDS channel, is back with a giant tent full of free fun for kids and families at the N.C. State Fair.
Inside Rootle Wonderland, kids can meet and greet with Rootle mascot Read-a-roo, play with Legos, slide and glide on a sock rink and take part in other activities.

Saturday, Oct. 19, is Science Saturday. The day will include science demos, experiments and more.

Find the Rootle Wonderland tent at the NC State Fair near Dorton Arena. All activities are free with fair admission. Rootle Wonderland activities are best for preschoolers to young grade schoolers.
