UNC campus resident arrested after firearm found in residence hall
Police at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill arrested a resident who was found with a firearm in a residence hall on Sunday, authorities said.

The resident was arrested at Koury Residence Hall, off of Manning Drive, according to an arrest report.
That person is facing felony charges for possessing a firearm on educational property.
Police said someone had seen the gun on social media sent the police department an anonymous tip.
The suspect has been banned from the UNC campus.
