ROUGEMONT, N.C. — The bodies of two women were found inside a house near Rougemont on Monday, Durham County authorities said Tuesday.

Authorities said there was no sign of foul play in the deaths of Donna Andrews Lloyd, 58, and Wendy Chase, 37. The bodies have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill for autopsies to determine the cause of death.

A friend went to 121 Quail Roost Farm Road at about noon Monday after being unable to reach the women by phone for two days, authorities said. It's unclear how long the women had been dead.

Lloyd rented the house, which is among several rental properties on an area horse farm, and Chase stayed with her from time to time, authorities said.
