AUTRYVILLE, N.C. — Two teens were killed early Sunday in a crash in Sampson County, authorities said.

The head-on crash occurred at 895 Hayne Stretch Road in Autryville, and two people were pinned in the wreckage, the Autryville Fire Department said in a Facebook post.

According to the State Highway Patrol, Rozyln Cain, 17, of Autryville, was northbound when her 2009 Pontiac went off the road, and she overcorrected, crossing the center line.

The Pontiac collided with a southbound 2010 Ford Escape driven by Yazmin Hanzdpadilla, 18, of Garland, authorities said.

Cain and her passenger, Ronald Parks Jr., 18, of Roseboro, were killed. Hanzdpadilla suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The Sampson County Sheriff's Office, Roseboro Rescue and Sampson County EMS also responded to the crash.
