Two sought in Raleigh bank robbery

Raleigh police are investigating a robbery that happened Thursday afternoon at a PNC Bank branch.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a robbery that happened Thursday afternoon at a PNC Bank branch.

Police say a man robbed the bank around 4:30 p.m. at 2414 Wycliff Road, using a handgun and then fled on foot. They believe he then rendezvoused with a female accomplice.

The man, described as being white, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 185 pounds, is in his mid-50s and was wearing a dark-colored short-sleeve shirt and a white ball cap.

Police said his accomplice is white, possibly in her mid-30s, and has long dark brown or black hair and is of medium height and weight.
