Durham police are seeking the public’s help to identify two men they think might be involved in the thefts of several truck trailers over the past few months.

Investigators say the 53-foot trailers were taken from a parking lot near U.S. Highway 70 in eastern Durham and that the thieves used a dark blue truck cab with no markings on it to hook up the trailers and move them.

Police released two surveillance photos of each of the two men but did not say when or where the photos were taken.

In one pair of photos, the man is wearing a light-colored cap, red sweatshirt, brown jacket and blue jeans. The other man is wearing a black knit hat and dark-colored sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham police investigators at 919-560-4281, extension 29118, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests, and callers never have to identify themselves.
