Two shot near Fayetteville homeless shelter
Authorities were responding Monday evening after two people were shot near a Fayetteville homeless shelter.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities are investigating after two men were shot near a Fayetteville homeless shelter Monday evening.
Authorities said the incident happened at about 5 p.m. in the 500 block of Edwards Street near the Operation In As Much shelter on Hillsboro Street.
Police said the men were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities did not release any information about the condition of the victims or possible suspects.
