Fayetteville police said that two people were shot in the area of Tokay and Meadowsweet drives late Saturday afternoon.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police said that two people were shot in the area of Tokay and Meadowsweet drives late Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called out to the shooting shortly after 5 p.m.

The victims, whose identities weren't released, were taken to a local hospital. An update on their conditions was unavailable.

Police said the investigation was ongoing. No more information was released.
