Durham police officers were responding late Monday to a shooting on Delbert Avenue near Horton Road.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police officers were responding late Monday to a shooting on Delbert Avenue near Horton Road.

Police said two people were shot in the incident, which happened about 10 p.m. inside an apartment. Both victims were found outside, with one suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. They were taken to Duke University Hospital.
