Two people were sent to the hospital with unknown injuries after an accident in Raleigh on Saturday night.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Two people were sent to the hospital with unknown injuries after an accident in Raleigh on Saturday night.

Officials from the NC State Highway Patrol confirmed the two-car accident happened on Old Milburnie Road and RC Watson Road. Photos sent in by WRAL's Aaron Thomas show one of the vehicles was split in half as it was being transported away from the scene.

Troopers were still on the scene investigating late Saturday.
