Two robbed on Durham trail
Two people were robbed while walking on the South Ellerbee Creek Trail Monday afternoon, Durham police said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Two people were robbed while walking on the South Ellerbee Creek Trail Monday afternoon, Durham police said.
The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. near Rand and Green streets when police said two men approached the pair, including one with a knife, and robbed the victims of their cell phones and money.
One of the men hit the female victim, police said.
The two victims, who were not seriously injured, could not provide a detailed description to investigators.
