Two people were taken to WakeMed on Friday afternoon after being stabbed, Garner police said.

<b>GARNER, N.C.</b> — Two people were taken to WakeMed on Friday afternoon after being stabbed, Garner police said.

The stabbings occurred at 2:30 pm. at 3719 Woodside Drive, police said. One victim was identified as 36-year-old Daniel Bennett.

One person was in custody, but police didn't release any other information about the incident.

"There's no threat. There's no firearm," Deputy Chief Rico Boyce said at the press conference. "A student made the principal aware that there's someone on campus with a firearm."
