Two people injured in Raleigh wreck

A north Raleigh road was closed for a few hours Saturday after a head-on collision.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A north Raleigh road was closed for a few hours Saturday after a head-on collision.

Just before 6 p.m., two vehicles collided along the 7000 block of Fox Road, near Jeffreys Creek Lane and Herman Place.

Paramedics transported two people to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The road reopened around 9 p.m.

The cause of the wreck remained under investigation.
