Two people die in crash on N.C. 87 in Harnett County
Officials are investigating a crash on N.C. Highway 87 with at least two cars involved at 8 a.m. Friday morning.

SANFORD, N.C. — Two people have died in a crash on NC Highway 87 at around 6 a.m. on rainy Friday, according to officials.
The crash happened near the intersection of Olivia Road and the highway in the area of Sanford.
Several lanes were closed Friday morning as officials worked to clear the scene.
The wreck appeared to involve two light-colored pick-up trucks.
Officials have not released details about what caused the crash.
