Two Orange County banks robbed
A Chapel Hill bank and another bank in Hillsborough were robbed Tuesday, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A Chapel Hill bank and another bank in Hillsborough were robbed Tuesday, authorities said.
The CommunityOne Bank branch at 102 Millstone Drive in Hillsborough was robbed at about noon, and a BB&T branch at 143 E. Rosemary St. in Chapel Hill was held up at about 4:15 p.m.
Police haven't released a description of the robber in either case.
The North Carolina Bankers Association offers a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of anyone responsible for robbing a bank in the state.
