RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating after two men were shot at a home Thursday night.

Officers responded to the 4300 block of Crowfield Drive just before 7 p.m. and discovered two men with gunshot wounds.

Police said one man was shot in the arm and another was shot in the back of his leg. Both men were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities did not say what prompted the shooting.

The incident occurred just down the street from the Coastal Credit Union Music Park, where a concert was taking place.

At least a dozen police cars as well as crime scene analysts from CCBI were at the scene and residents who have lived in the neighborhood for years said they were shocked and concerned by the violence.

"I grew up here all my life, in the neighborhood over there. It's the first time I've ever seen anything like this over there," resident Deangelis Davis said.

Neighbors said kids frequently play in the neighborhood and they will have to take precautions following the incident.

"It makes me kind of nervous," resident June Bates said. "It wasn't like that when we were kids. You could walk anywhere around here and not worry."
