Two men wanted in Durham homicide

Police officers responding to a cardiac call Thursday night found the body of an unindentified man, whose death has been ruled a homicide.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man found dead inside a house in Durham and are looking for two men believed to be involved in the crime.

Officers were dispatched to 102 St. Paul Place at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, where they found Otonyel Contreras stabbed to death. Investigators do not believe the stabbing was a random act.

Investigators are looking for two men who were seen leaving the area in a medium-sized sport utility vehicle.

Police described one of the men as being Hispanic, approximately 25 to 30 years old and standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a cowboy hat and a trench coat.

The other assailant is described as being a Hispanic man in his early to mid-20s, standing 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He had curly hair and was last seen wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.
